Teak Coffee Table Design Ideas

Teak coffee table is a project you can do if you know about the use of drills and wood. Coffee tables can be made with storage if you want a place to put mail, magazines or other quick reference documents later by adding a drawer. The table drawer is built similar to the table itself. Lay out 34-inch wood with narrow and vertical sides. Line the boards to 4 feet apart and parallel to each other. Make the ends flush. Lay the 4-foot wood on either side of the 34-inch joints. Fix the sides of the 4-foot joint against the ends of the shorter boards. Put the 5-inch boards on the other end of the 34-inch boards with the sides of the 5-inch boards flush against the ends of the 34-inch boards.
Teak coffee table, drill screws through the sides of the 4-foot board and the 5-inch boards at the ends of the 34-inch boards. Adjust the plywood to the frame with the edges flush with the frame. Screw a smaller screw into each corner of the plywood in frame. Measure and mark one point every 6 inches on each side. Adjust the screws through the plywood in the frame of these points to finish the table. Overturn the table top so the frame is at the top. Put a post on an inside corner of the frame, so each corner has a post. Use larger screws to attach the legs. Drill screws through the frame into the post using two screws on each side by the post.
Teak coffee table, place the 37 inch boards parallel to each other with the narrow and vertical sides. Set 2-foot spacing between them. Put a 33 inch board on the ends of the longer boards. They have the sides of the boards flush with the ends of the short boards. Place the frame with short screws by drilling through the sides of the long boards at the ends of the short boards. Place the smallest piece of plywood on the frame. Line to the sides. Measure and mark points every 6 inches on each side. Use short screws drilled into the plywood at each mark to secure the base of the drawer. Place a corridor on top of the 33 sides of the drawer. Make the edges of the corridors flush with the edges of the drawer. Use the holes previously made in the corridors with the short screws to connect the runners to the base of the drawer. The matching corridor parts are aligned on the bottom of the table to match the drawer. Set these corridors in the same way.
