Ideas Glass Coffee Tables

Glass coffee table allows for easy, blemish-free cleanup of drips and spills, and gives a classic look that complements a wide range of decor styles. Fortunately not build their own glass coffee table does not require highly specialized carpentry skills or materials: you can complete the project in an afternoon of easy to find materials and tools. You can customize your finished glass-top coffee table feed on the underside of the glass plate with pebbles or shells. Select two pieces 18 x 15 inch plywood 3/8-inch from the top of each piece. Nail the 24 x 18-inch piece of plywood in the bottom of the box, with 2-inch finishing nails. Turn the table over and rest it on the ground. Sand all wood surfaces carefully with fine sandpaper and clean the table with a damp cloth. Let the table dry. Apply a coat of primer to the table and leave the table to dry for two hours before painting. Line the inset at the top of the table with small stones or shells, and break the glass piece on top of the wood support strips.
